AI startup Wonderful more than doubles valuation to $5B with $550M Series C
Israeli-Dutch AI startup Wonderful has raised $550 million in a Series C at a $5 billion valuation, more than double the $2 billion it was worth less than six months ago.

AI startup Wonderful has closed a $550 million Series C at a $5 billion valuation, according to TechCrunch, more than doubling the $2 billion price tag the company carried when it last raised money less than six months ago.
The round
Insight Partners returned to lead the round, and previous backers Index Ventures, IVP, Vine Ventures, 9Yards and Bessemer Venture Partners all participated again. Salesforce is joining the cap table for the first time, marking the round's most notable new name.
From customer service to an AI operating system
Wonderful was founded in early 2025 and grew quickly on the strength of a customer service AI agent platform, which it adapted and sold largely into non-English-speaking markets. The company paired that product with a hands-on go-to-market approach: engineering teams deployed directly to customers, sometimes working on their premises, to wire the technology into existing systems and workflows. Wonderful says it now operates in more than 35 countries.
Over the past few months, TechCrunch reports, the startup has widened its ambitions beyond customer support. Its core offering is now the "Wonderful AI OS," a platform designed to coordinate agents, workflows and AI applications together with a company's data, context and existing integrations. The company says the platform works with any AI model and fits into the tech stacks companies already run.
CTO and co-founder Roey Lalazar said in a statement that customers can adopt only the parts of the platform that suit them, pick the best model for each workload, integrate with their existing systems, and keep ownership of everything they build.
Betting on people, not just software
The forward-deployed engineering model remains central to the plan. TechCrunch notes that demand for specialists who can actually implement AI products stays high, and Wonderful says the new capital will go toward faster product development, expanding those deployment teams, and meeting demand for its products.
Why it matters
A company founded in early 2025 being valued at $5 billion says a great deal about the current market: investors are rewarding AI startups that can demonstrate real enterprise adoption, quickly and at scale, and they are paying up for the trajectory.
The product shift is also telling. Moving from a point solution — customer service agents — to an orchestration layer that connects agents, workflows and data positions Wonderful where much of the industry now expects durable value to sit: above the individual models, in integration and coordination.
The continued reliance on forward-deployed engineers points to a quieter bottleneck in enterprise AI. Models are becoming commodities, but embedding them productively into a company's processes is still hard, and Wonderful is effectively selling that expertise alongside its software. The $550 million is a wager that both halves of that equation keep compounding.
